ARENATON TERMS OF SERVICE

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Arenaton, a decentralized web3 application offering access to prediction markets powered by the 9Lives Protocol on the Superposition Layer 3. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Arenaton governing your access to and use of the Arenaton application, website, and services (collectively, the "Platform").
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
1. ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using Arenaton, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age or have obtained valid consent from a parent or legal guardian.
1.2 Jurisdictional Restrictions
You are responsible for complying with all local laws, rules, and regulations that apply to your use of the Platform. Arenaton may not be available in all jurisdictions, and you agree not to access the Platform from any jurisdiction where it would be illegal or otherwise prohibited.
1.3 Compliance with Applicable Laws
You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations when using the Platform, including but not limited to those related to online prediction markets, cryptocurrency, money transmission, and securities.
2. PLATFORM SERVICES
2.1 Non-Custodial Service
Arenaton operates as a non-custodial platform. We do not take custody of or control user funds at any time. You maintain full control of your digital assets through your own wallet.
2.2 Web3 Integration
Arenaton interfaces with blockchain technology, including but not limited to the Arbitrum Stylus ecosystem and the 9Lives Protocol. Your use of these underlying technologies is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
2.3 Prediction Markets
The Platform allows you to:
Participate in prediction markets by placing predictions on various outcomes
Create new markets as a Market Inventor
Provide liquidity as a Capital Investor
Act as an Arbiter to verify market outcomes
2.4 Web3Auth Integration
Arenaton uses Web3Auth to simplify user authentication. Your use of Web3Auth is subject to its own terms of service and privacy policy.
2.5 fUSDC Support
The Platform uses fUSDC (Fluid USDC) as its primary token. You acknowledge that fUSDC operates independently of Arenaton and carries its own risks and benefits.
3. USER ACCOUNTS AND SECURITY
3.1 Account Creation
To access certain features of the Platform, you may need to create an account through Web3Auth or connect a compatible cryptocurrency wallet.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
Create a strong password (if applicable)
Keep your private keys secure
Not share your account credentials with any third party
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
3.3 Wallet Security
You are solely responsible for the security of your cryptocurrency wallet. Arenaton does not have access to your wallet's private keys and cannot recover lost funds or reverse transactions.
4. USER CONDUCT
4.1 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities when using the Platform:
Violating any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
Attempting to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Platform
Using the Platform to engage in fraudulent activities
Attempting to manipulate markets or outcomes
Creating markets with intent to mislead users
Using automated systems to interact with the Platform without our permission
Circumventing any access restrictions or security measures
Using the Platform to distribute malware or harmful code
Engaging in activities that could disable, overburden, or impair the Platform
Impersonating any person or entity
Collecting user information without consent
4.2 Market Creation Guidelines
When creating markets on the Platform, you agree to:
Provide accurate and clear descriptions
Not create markets on illegal activities
Ensure market outcomes are verifiable
Adhere to community standards of ethical prediction markets
Not create markets that could incite violence, hatred, or illegal activities
5. USER CONTENT
5.1 User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Platform ("User Content"), including market descriptions, comments, and other materials.
5.2 License Grant
By submitting User Content, you grant Arenaton a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such User Content for the purposes of operating and improving the Platform.
5.3 Content Restrictions
You agree that your User Content will not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other proprietary rights. Arenaton reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 Ownership
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, software, and code, is the property of Arenaton or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 Limited License
Arenaton grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Platform for its intended purposes. This license does not allow you to:
Modify, copy, or create derivative works of the Platform
Use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering methods
Download or copy any account information for the benefit of another party
Use the Platform for any commercial purposes without our consent
6.3 Feedback
If you provide any feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Platform, you grant Arenaton a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use that feedback for any purpose without any obligation to compensate you.
7. RISKS AND DISCLAIMERS
7.1 Cryptocurrency Risks
You understand and acknowledge that:
Cryptocurrency values can be volatile and may fluctuate significantly
Transactions on blockchain networks are irreversible
Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities
Regulatory changes may impact cryptocurrency operations
7.2 Prediction Market Risks
You understand that participation in prediction markets involves risk, including:
Potential loss of invested funds
Uncertainty in market outcomes
Potential market manipulation by other users
Delays or complications in market resolution
7.3 No Investment Advice
Nothing on the Platform constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice. Arenaton does not recommend any particular digital asset, transaction, or investment strategy.
7.4 No Guarantee of Returns
Arenaton does not guarantee any returns on investments or predictions made through the Platform. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
ARENATON DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:
THE PLATFORM WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS
THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE
THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USING THE PLATFORM WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE
ANY ERRORS IN THE PLATFORM WILL BE CORRECTED
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARENATON AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE PLATFORM
ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE PLATFORM
ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM
UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT
BUGS, ERRORS, VIRUSES, OR OTHER HARMFUL CODE FROM THE PLATFORM
MARKET VOLATILITY OR FLUCTUATIONS IN CRYPTOCURRENCY VALUES
OUTCOMES OF PREDICTION MARKETS
IN NO EVENT SHALL ARENATON'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) TO ARENATON DURING THE PAST SIX MONTHS.
10. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arenaton and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
Your use of the Platform
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Your User Content
11. MODIFICATIONS TO THE PLATFORM AND TERMS
11.1 Platform Modifications
Arenaton reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. You agree that Arenaton shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Platform.
11.2 Terms Modifications
Arenaton may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
12. TERMINATION
12.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your use of the Platform at any time by discontinuing use of the Platform.
12.2 Termination by Arenaton
Arenaton may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms.
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
Your right to use the Platform will immediately cease
You will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination
12.4 User Funds
As Arenaton operates as a non-custodial platform, termination of your access to the Platform will not affect your ownership of digital assets in your personal wallet. However, it may affect your ability to interact with smart contracts deployed through the Platform.
13. GENERAL PROVISIONS
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Cayman Islands, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
13.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in accordance with the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce. The arbitration shall take place in the Cayman Islands, and the language of the arbitration shall be English.
13.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
13.4 No Waiver
Arenaton's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of such right or provision.
13.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without Arenaton's prior written consent. Arenaton may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction.
13.6 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Arenaton regarding the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
